Chattogram Challengers secured a convincing 8-wicket victory over the Sylhet Strikers, catapulting themselves to the summit of the points table. A stellar bowling performance by the Chattogram Challengers earlier in the day limited the Strikers to a modest total, and their batsmen effortlessly chased down the target. Avishka Fernando provided a rapid start at the beginning of the innings, setting the tone for his team. Following his departure, Tanzid Hasan and Tom Bruce formed a clinical partnership for the second wicket. Tanzid reached a half-century before being bowled out, while Tom Bruce remained unbeaten and also notched up a fifty as Chattogram Challengers comfortably achieved victory in the 18th over.
Unfortunately for the Sylhet Strikers, this defeat marked their fourth consecutive loss in the tournament. They remain the only team in the competition yet to secure a victory this season.
