Grace Harris is still at the crease, and hopes are still alive for UP Warriorz women for the run chase. They needed 32 runs in their last four overs, but in the same over, Asha Sobhana picked up her 4th wicket of the Innings, and that too the Big Fish Grace Harris; she destroyed the UP warriorz hope and destroyed the middle order batsman in just an over, so for the last 3overs Up warriorz needed 30 runs.
With Poonam Khemnar coming to crease knocked two back to back fours in the 17th over of Shreyanka Patil, Deepti Sharma joined her with a sweeping cover 4, thus leading 14runs of the 17th over with 3 four’s
Now UP Warriorz woman needs just 16 runs off 12 balls. Wareham got the Poonam Khemnar wicket and waited for a wicket for the RCB woman as the game shifted toward the UP Warriorz woman. Ecclestone gave just 5runs of the 19th over.
11 runs are needed for the last over, and the UP Warriors are now 147-7; Molineux has taken the final over to the bowl. She made her first four balls to two singles and two dot balls. Now, UP Warriors need to make nine runs off the last 2balls; the next ball went for four, just like the previous game thriller. Does the last ball go for SIX ..?
Not this time Molineux holds her nerve. It was a low full-toss that dipped on Deepti Sharma’s drives to mid-wicket for two runs. Thus, RCB women won their first match at M Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru.
